I’m a seventeen year old living in arizona. I was uprooted from Las Vegas, Nevada, and I return there frequently. The desert is a pretty bland place to live, and as soon as I can I’m hoping to move somewhere green. My life consists of making music, playing hockey, and graphic design. I’m pretty simple and pretty laid back, and I try to live life as care free as possible. When attempting to be artistically creative, I receive inspiration from a few places inparticular. My favorite place to draw inspiration from is instrumental music; I really feel like the emotion expressed in the music can be translated into photography. As far as drawing information from other photographs, I look for two things. The first is unmanipulated photographs that are solely of nature, particularly places that look like little getaways. (Sometimes I feel as if i could get lost in great photographs.) The other place I look is quite the opposite; I prefer extreme pictures where the images were highly photoshopped. The best are pictures of people that are given sub-human or animalistic qualities. I’m sure I draw inspiration from other places, but as I said these are the main sources, and I believe the two differing styles fuse together to make an unusual, but beautiful type of artwork.
